The Time Machine

You are walking through a large forest on a rainy day. You are there to take some pictures for your photography class. You decide to take a picture of a nice view that you seen. You take your camera and zoom in. You see a silver car behind some trees. You go over to the car to inspect it closer. The car is unlocked. What will you do? [[Enter the car]] [[Leave the place]]

You decided to open the door and enter the car. The keys are still in the ignition. This could be a bad idea! What will you do? [[Turn the keys in the ignition]] [[Leave the place]]

You decided to leave the car alone. What will you do now? [[Call the police]] [[Keep it a secret and move on]]

You decide that you should call the police to tell them about the car that you have found. The police will arrive in 20 minutes. You do not want to be on the scene. [[Leave the forest]]

You decided to leave the forest. You are still in shock by the discovery you have just made and begin your journey back home.

You have decided to turn the car on. Surprisingly, the car has started on the first try. A big screen has popped out of the dash. It is showing a bunch of numbers. It seems to be a date, time and year. You got the idea to enter a date into the screen. What will you chose? [[A date in the future]] [[A date in the past]]

You have decided to enter a date in the future. You type in the date and time: 23/04/2070 15:00. A big flash appears and you can hear some very strange screeches. You are now in the future! You are in a large city. There are flying cars and technology everywhere. You look up at a big screen on a building and see yourself on the news. It says that you are the mayor of the city. You have decided to enter a date in the past. You type in the date and time: 23/04/1867 15:00. A big flash appears and you can hear some very strange screeches. You are now in the past! You are in a desert. There is a town nearby that you decide to go to. You decide to steal some clothes from a clothing line near someones house to fit in with the people. The place seems very strange and scary. What will you do now? [[Go back to the car]] [[Talk to the people of the town]]

You have decided to go back to the car. You turn the car on and put in the current date into the screen. There is a big flash and a loud bang. You are now back in the present time. You are still in the forest where you found the car. [[Go back home]]

You have decided to speak to some of the people of the town. However upon further inspection, the town seems to be abandoned. The people that were in the town are mannequins. This immediately reminds you of a movie scene that you have seen before where the town is filled with mannequins and explosives all over the town. You start to panic and rush to the car. [[Go to the car]]

You have decided to speak to yourself. The mayor is at a hotel eating his dinner. You go up to him and start to speak. He is shocked and confused to see a younger version of him. He explains to you that this is a very bad idea and could change alot of things in the year that you came from. You had a nice conversation with an older version of yourself. What will you do now? You decided to go back to the car. You found the car and turned the key in the ignition. The car cant start after many attempts. A message popped up on the big screen on the dash saying that the car is low on fuel. But there is no fuel stations nearby. You can't go back to the present time until you find some fuel. [[Look for fuel]]

You have decided to do more exploring. As soon as you exited the hotel. Future you, grabbed your hand and told you to go back to the time machine. He is angry and wants you to leave. You decided to listen to him and go back to the car. [[Go back to the car]]

You have decided to go back home. You decide to keep the time machine as a secret and tell nobody. You are still in shock about what happened. [[go to bed]]

You begin to look for fuel. You open the boot of the car as you have not looked in there yet. Luckily you have found a small canister of fuel. The previous owner must have kept spare fuel in case of situations liek this. You pour the fuel into the car and try to start it again. It started!! The screen with the dates has popped up once again. You put in the present date and time. There is a big flash and a loud bang. You are now back in the present time. You are still in the forest where you found the car. [[go home]]

You have decided to leave the car in the forest where you first found it and tell nobody about it. You begin walking home. Something feels strange. Everything seems different and futuristic. Kicking a few rocks and taking the clothes from the past must have changed the timeline! You are now stuck in this alternate timeline where everything is different with no way of going back to the old timeline...

You go to sleep knowing that you have found a working time machine and have travelled through time using it!
